New Topcoat on Jim Mayer Riverswalk Trail

A new topcoat of surface material was put on the original section of the Jim Mayer Riverswalk Trail. This segment stretches from Riverside to Bridge St. in Johnstown. It had not been resurfaced in many years.
Robindale Energy Services, Inc. supplied trucks to haul the stone and surface material to the designated location. NRG Energy  contributed the machinery and had volunteers come out to lay the topcoat. The Friends of the Trails program provided funding to purchase the surface material.
More topcoat projects are being planned for the future. Let’s keep working together to enhance the Cambria County Trails!
